The 4th Edition of SIVIM'S NATIONAL CONGRESS aims to promote awareness of the medical virology from a pathogenetic, diagnostic, clinical and therapeutical point of view, but also to stimulate conversation and collaboration amongst the groups of researchers that operate in Italy and abroad. The ultimate objective is to facilitate the transfer of laboratory experience into the clinical practice.

The Congress will be held over three days and will include magistral lectures, introductory lectures, monothematic sessions and posters.
The themes will relate to the current issues of medical virology, such as HIV infections or respiratory viruses, but also to issues such as the evolution of viruses, or even to the genetic factors that are responsible for such infections, which are not often addressed in the context of Italian conventions.
The program will be developed by reaching an equilibrium between the biological and clinical issues that characterize our scientific company.

The participation and scientific contributions of the various groups of Italian researchers that were received represent a time of enrichment for both the researchers and the clinicians as far as knowledge, sharing of information, experience and professional growth are concerned.

Pre-convention Courses will be held for a limited number of participants before the Convention.
